Should Saddam really comply with the US ultimatum? He can but he won't. The people of Iraq will stand alone today more for the sake of their nation, then their leader, and in 48 hours, the world will bear witness to naked aggression without order, merit or principle---is the ultimatum on Saddam or on the disunity of the Muslim nations today?

This is totally wrong and illegal and unacceptable to ask some one to leave his country. The US government has no right to impose its will on small countries. It is time for Muslim leaders across the world to come out of their tents and voice their concerns over US aggression.

Bush will go for war, even though Saddam leaves his country.

You are asking question from the readers if Saddam Hussein should go into exile to avoid war. But in your own today's issue (march 19) there is a news item that USA says it will still invade Iraq even Saddam Hussein and his sons leave Iraq to rid Iraqi "weapons of mass destruction".

Instead, the question should have been if "Saddam Hussein should leave Iraq to protect himself?".

Bush is a cowboy and has that type of inborn mentality.

US President Bush has given an ultimatum to Saddam Hussain, which indicate that war is indispensable and all the windows of peaceful settlement of Iraq crisis have been closed. Now there are two options for Saddam Hussain; either to go into exile or face war.

If Saddam Hussain goes into exile, it would leave an unprecedented precedence to the other countries leaders to follow in case they face such situations. As we know that human beings are subject to death one day or the other. By fleeing from one country to another and going into exile, he could not remain sage.  If Saddam gets asylum in any country, he may face many charges of human rights violations which he committed during his governance. I think he should stand against the big challenge of war.

Why should Saddam Hussain and his sons leave their homeland and live somewhere else? I think under any circumstances, no one will want to leave his homeland. Saddam Hussein should face eminent war.

Thousands of Saddam and Bin Laden are here in the world. Can Bush force them all to get out of their homes? What caused them to be the enemies of America? Fact is that Bush himself must disappear for the sake of tomorrow not Saddam .

America has the biggest stock pile of weapons of mass destruction including nuclear, biological and chemical arms. Who authorized America to possess them? It is all illegal and unjustified to poke nose into the affairs of other countries.

I think Bush has no right to direct any liberal person to leave his own country. First he should ask Israel to disarm as it possesses lethal weapons. The US bias shows that it wanted to eliminate Muslims.

In order to save lives of innocent Iraqis, Saddam should step aside. But looking at his past performance it is not going to happen. He will take a few thousands of Iraqis with him for sheer stubbornness!

Saddam Hussain should leave Iraq with his family and close allies immediatelt. This will save Iraq from the destruction and save millions from being butchered and massacred by the aggression of the USA- led allies.

I strongly suggest that Saddam should immediately leave or find a way out to avoid war. Iraq can definitely survive without him.

Asking someone to leave his own country. I don't know how Bush gets such wonderful idea. He must have been a very bright kid in school. He should take care of his internal economy instead of putting all his energies on his the shattered foreign policy.

Only people of Iraq have right to ask Saddam to leave the country. If Iraqis want Saddam to leave then he should, otherwise Bush has no right for giving the ultimatum to Saddam without the United Nation's support.

Is Saddam Hussein is a citizen of USA that he should leave his own country? Have  America and its allies not any deadly Weapons of mass destructions ? Can Mr. Bush reply these simple questions?

Ghawas Uddin

Sadam should accept it and leave Iraq as soon as possible for the sake of Iraqi people and for the socioeconomic stability of the region and rest of the world as well. Its worth confronting that the war results will no way be favourable to America as well.

So Iraqi president should resign and give up all the disputes.

In my point of view , Bush has no legal right to attack on Iraq, Its is a conservancy against Muslims, and enemy of Islam wants to ruin the history, culture and identity of Muslims.

Two reason are very clear. Firstly, they want to control on Iraqi oil wells, which would be main source of development of any country. Secondly, another reason is to hold and rule on all Muslim countries. It is clear-cut fact that if now Muslim not together and united, then they would be slaves.

However, Bush is surely a wrong person and he has no right to attack on Iraq in the face of International war opposition.

I am totally reluctant to American's attack over Iraq. Bush should stop this stupid step. she gives lesson on terrorist even she herself made Afghanistan a barren piece of Land. What is this?
